Ingredients:
– approx. 15-20 pieces of dates
- approx. 50-70g of roasted peanuts
– approx. 200-250g peanut butter (the one in the picture above is prepared by the house by blending the hazelnuts), sesame paste/ something else at your choosing
– honey 1-2 teaspoons
– coconut oil 1-2 teaspoons
– approx. 200-250g chocolate (preferably at least 52% cocoa)
– oat flakes approx. 100-120g
– sunflower oil for homemade peanut butter (optional)
How to co-create it:
- Melt the chocolate in a dry bowl placed on top of a bowl of boiling water + coconut oil 1-2 teaspoons (optional).
- Put the pieces of dates in a bowl with hot water and let them soak for 5-10 minutes.
- Put the oatmeal in a blender/ mixer to make oatmeal and pour into a bowl.
- Put the 200-250g baked hazelnuts in a blender/ mixer + 1-2 teaspoons of sunflower oil depending on how thin you want the peanut butter (picture 1).
- Put the pieces of soaked dates (without seeds) + 1-2 teaspoons of coconut oil + 1-2 teaspoons of honey on top of the peanut butter from within the blender/ mixer + sunflower oil if necessary and mix until the composition becomes homogeneous (picture 2).
- Remove half of the composition in a container (picture 3).
- Pour the previously prepared oatmeal over the remaining half in the blender/ mixer and mix until smooth.
- Prepare a container with baking sheet and spread evenly half of the peanut butter mixed with oats, then close the container and put in the freezer for a few minutes to solidify.
- Then put the second layer of composition over the first and then sprinkle 50-70g pieces of roasted peanuts, pressing lightly for gluing, filling the whole dough (picture 4). Close the container and leave it in the freezer for 30 minutes - 2 hours or more depending on the cooling capacity.
- Remove the worktop and cut it into the desired shapes and sizes to prepare them to be soaked into the chocolate bath (picture 5), then put back in the freezer for 20-40 minutes to solidify and prepare the chocolate spread.
- Remove the dough from the cold and start dipping the pieces in the chocolate bath or grease with a spoon and each part requiring cooling in the freezer several times to finish (picture 6).
- After the cooling time, place a few pieces of Snickers on a plate, and get to work 😋
Have a pleasant snack! 😋
